INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY
This document defines the information security policy of Capiflex.
As a modern, forward-looking business, Capiflex recognises at
senior levels the need to ensure that its business operates
smoothly and without interruption for the benefit of its
customers, shareholders and other stakeholders.
In order to provide such a level of continuous operation,
Capiflex has implemented a set of information security
controls to address its perceived risks.
Information security has many benefits for the business,
including:
- Protection of revenue streams and company profitability
- Ensuring the supply of goods and services to customers
- Maintenance and enhancement of shareholder value
- Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Physical Security
The protection of the physical environment is one of the most
obvious yet most important tasks within the area of
information security. A lack of physical access control can
undo the most careful technical precautions and potentially
put lives at risk.
Capiflex is committed to ensuring the safety of its employees,
contractors and assets and takes the issue of physical
security very seriously. This policy sets out the main
precautions that must be taken and, together with the
supporting documents listed, forms a significant part of our
information security control set.
This control applies to all systems, people and processes that
constitute the organisation’s information systems, including
board members, directors, employees, suppliers and other third
parties who have access to Capiflex systems.
Social Media
Capiflex makes extensive use of social media to communicate
directly with our customers as part of our marketing activity,
to provide support for our products and services, and to
obtain useful feedback on how our organisation is
perceived.
The social media landscape is constantly changing, but
currently includes platforms such as the following:
- Youtube
- Tumblr
- TikTik
- Blogging platforms
